Hello, my name is João Maria Vilas Boas, I am a Psychiatrist PhD student in Psychology at ISPA (professional card Nº 63179). I have a deep passion for the workings of the human mind. From a young age, I always wanted to understand the complexities of mental health and how it intertwines with our relationship with the world.

My training in Psychiatry is robust and diverse, covering training in reference institutions, both in Portugal and internationally, which allowed me to develop an integrated view of the mind, which goes beyond simple drug intervention. I believe that each person has a unique story, and my mission is to listen to them with empathy, respect, and tenderness, helping to light the way to their mental well-being.
